24 Hours in the Lost House - Preorder

24 Hours in the Lost House by Jasmine Ruff is the inaugural title in the mad/sick/different chapbook series. Its poems explore what it's like to love someone with a substance abuse disorder through the extended metaphors of ghosts, celebrity, and pansies.

"Ruff manages to make what sounds too stark to bear into an engaging, intriguing ensemble play—cleverly crafted. Its complexity, in repeated returns to the existential ‘house’ probes the mystery, and keeps the reader engrossed and held in its spaces—whether closets or gardens."--Steven Ross Smith The British Columbia Review
